What we do is design parts, separately, and they don't need to match for the same kind of creature. Actually, it would be more fun if they didn't match. The point is to have a stock of parts from which we will choose randomly. We'll be stuck with our selection, and have to design something good from these parts. So, we: -each design parts from the puppet body part list (to be made later, with participants' help). -each scans their inventory of parts. -each sends the picture files to me. -I format them appropriately, file them in separate folders, and distribute according to each participants's random parts request list. (someone will have to make up a random parts list for me, so I don't get special treatment). Participants may already start sketching their creature parts. It would be easier and sharper for us all if each part is drawn big enough to fit on a quarter of US letter sheet. And the drawing could be cleaned up, simply by retracing it with a marker, on a smooth paper. Scanning should be ok if done at 144 dpi. Each part could be sent separately as a JPEG, or sent as a single montage of all the parts (big file, but my email can usually handle it). _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org
