Subject: Re: [Puptcrit] puppet scenes in films

I am a HUGE fan of Terry Gillians work. I would also mention The Adventures
of Baron Muchausen. There was a Bird creature in the moon kingdom that
chased down the Baron and crashed to the surface Interesting enough Robin
Williams appeared in this movie as the King of the moon. But "Robin
Williams" did not appear in the credits. Here is some trivia on it.
Trivia: Robin Williams played the King of the Moon. The credits list "Ray
DiTutto". This is the English transliteration of the Italian phrase "Re di
Tutto," which means "King of Everything," which was how the King of the Moon
introduces himself to the Baron. Williams performed the part as soon as he
arrived in England after a transatlantic flight -Source IMDB

The Super Mario Bros Movie had a great animatronics\cable controlled system
dino named Yoshi. Truly an impressive piece of puppet making. Fabricated
by Animated Engineering. COOL! -Source Cinefex November 1993
