Subject: [Puptcrit] puppet scenes in films

Thanks Alan, for mentionning the puppet scene in Casanova.

***Can anyone share their knowledge of other puppet scenes in movies?

I remember in the movie The Santa Clause (with Tim allen), there was a
royaly decorated Punch and Judy set. Either Santa has expensive tastes, with
puppeteers working round the clock in the set, or the puppets are alive.

Years ago, there was a TV episode of The Nanny where Lamb shop and Shari
lewis came. Lamb chop was hilarious as a drunken star hitting on (making
advances at) the father. Ever stranger, she was playing herself, as if in
real life she was such an "immoral" character.

What else...?

Oh! and I think there were a few puppet scenes in an obscure TV show called
The Muppets.
