Part of the magic and vitality of puppetry and animation (and art) is that it defies, simplifies, amplifies, elaborates upon, ignores, turns inside out, etc. the mundane realms of literal, naturalistic realism. The artists intention rules. If your talent, skill and imagination can combine to present the visualization you intend, that is good. Convincing? That depends upon who is convinced or not... Art has room for the most anal retentive "realist" as well as the well as the most "let it happen, captain" experimentalist. The diversity enriches. You are allowed to your "good" & "convincingly". As are all others. (unless you are a member of the Republican party or the Taliban or... pick your favorite Despotism). mjm _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-lists.driftline.org Admin interface: http://lists.driftline.org/listinfo.cgi/puptcrit-driftline.org Archives: http://www.driftline.org
