Frankly I'm getting tired of these puppet productions on PBS that feature
soft sculpture Muppet clones with voices by actors pretending to be little
kids. With all the variety of puppetry that exists today why do producers
equate children's television with only one style and why are so many
puppeteers thrilled about it? Book stores don't sell only one style of
illustrated books. Aren't we shortchanging our kids?
