Mark Cahebay seems to
come up with great Ideas, but to take Jim Gamble's
role for a moment, who will pay for them? Unions are
expensive, a whole bureaucracy that has to be paid
for. I think what he suggests is more of an referral
service, a way of letting potential clients know that
a body of puppeteers says that a given show is good

Greg Ballora

Greg hit the nail on the head, More of a form of a directory , a "Union" of
Professional puppeteers that other members have viewed performing and are
up to pro quality, Corporate 500 companies or other venues have the option
to view the directory to choose a guaranteed pro performance or go the
standard
route and choose who ever fits their fancy, either way no one has anyone
stepping
on their feet and the high end venues have a free option to choose from.

 Mark
PS; Greg. Thanks for the compliment much appreciated
