Subject: Empire - Could Walmart be the multitude?

All,

You might think it was the Pope or Microsoft, but I just heard that Walmart
has the largest revenues of any company in the world Also, they open a new
store in the U.S. every other day - open up a new country every year, are
the largest employer in the U.S. after the U.S. government..

Their stores are said to compete against each other, and they have 340
stores for sale. The TV documentary is about towns trying to keep them from
coming in an ruining their commmunities.

As of November '99, Forbes Magazine in their ranking of the most wealthy
U.S. billionaires. listed three of the top five as Microsoft executives.
Number 3 was Warren Buffet, Investor, Number 5 was Michael Dell, computer
maker..

The next five were Waltons. They averaged $17 Billion each..
